This tutorial was translated with PSP2020 but it can also be made using other versions of PSP.
Since version PSP X4, Image>Mirror was replaced with Image>Flip Horizontal,
and Image>Flip with Image>Flip Vertical, there are some variables.
In versions X5 and X6, the functions have been improved by making available the Objects menu.
In the latest version X7 command Image>Mirror and Image>Flip returned, but with new differences.

You can change Blend Modes according to your colors.



Copy the gradient in the Gradients Folder.
Copy the texture in the Textures Folder.

1. Open a new transparent image 900 x 600 pixels.

2. Set your foreground color to Gradient and select the gradient cmv_2058, style Linear.



Flood Fill the transparent image with your Gradient.

3. Effects>Texture Effects>Texture - select the texture 29_cmv.



Adjust>Sharpness>Sharpen More.

4. Open the tube EMA_Misted Winter 16_30112024

Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste as new layer.
Don't move it.

5. Open Adorno_Estrella_Nines

Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste as new layer.

6. Activate your Magic Wand Tool
click in the center to select it.

7. Activate your background layer, Raster 1.

Selections>Promote Selection to Layer.
Layers>Arrange>Bring to Top.
Keep selected.



8. Layers>New Raster Layer.
Activate again the tube EMA_Misted Winter 16_30112024 and go to Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste into Selection.



Selections>Select None.

9. Layers>Merge>Merge Down - 2 times (star+landscape+background)



10. Effects>Image Effects>Offset.





11. Effects>3D Effects>Drop shadow, color #000000.



12. Open 2024 11 27 Cat mist H3

Erase the watermark and go to Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste as new layer.
Image>Resize, to 50%, resize all layers not checked.

13. Effects>Image Effects>Offset.



Reduce the opacity of this layer to 80%.

14. Activate your background layer, Raster 1.

Layers>Duplicate.

15. Effects>Plugins>Mura's Meister - Perspective Tiling.



16. Effects>Geometric Effects>Spherize.



17. Effects>Plugins>Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 Nature - Snow Drift.



18. Close the star's layer.



19. Layers>Merge>Merge visible.

20. Effects>Plugins>AAA Frames - Foto Frame.



21. Open again and activate your top layer of the star.



Open the tube Weihnachts-Frauen-33-05 by Gerda

Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste as new layer.
Image>Resize, 2 times to 50%, resize all layers not checked.

Move the tube at the bottom left.



22. Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, color #000000.



23. Open Texto_Felices_Fiestas-Nines

Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste as new layer.
Move the tube at the bottom right.

24. Signe your work.
Add watermarks of the author and of the translator.

25. Layers>Merge>Merge All.

26. Image>Add borders, 2 pixels, symmetric, color #0171b1.

27. Activate again Adorno_Estrella_Nines and go to Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste as new layer.
Place the star over the previous one.




28. Activate your Magic Wand Tool
and click in the center of the star to select it.

29. Activate your background layer.
Layers>Duplicate - 2 times (for a total of 3 layers).

30. Rename the layers 1,2 et 3



31. Activate the layer 1

Effects>Plugins>VDL Adrenaline - Snowflakes
if your use the new version of the filter, the result doesn't change
Effects>Plugins>VanDerLee - Snowflakes



32. Activate the layer Raster 2

Effects>Plugins>VDL Adrenaline - Snowflakes, change Random Seed to 60 and ok.



33. Activate the layer Raster 3

Effects>Plugins>VDL Adrenaline - Snowflakes, change Random Seed to 70 and ok.



Selections>Select None.

Animation

1. Stay always on the star's layer.
Close the layers 2 and 3.



2. Edit>Copy Special>Copy Merged (layer 1 and star).

3. Open Animation Shop and go to Edit>Paste>Paste as new image.

4. Go back to PSP.

Close the layer 1 and open the layer 2



5. Edit>Copy Special>Copy Merged (layer 2 and star).

6. Go back to Animation Shop and go to Edit>Paste>Paste after the current frame.

7. On PSP.
Close the layer 2 and open the layer 3.



8. Edit>Copy Special>Copy Merged (layer 3 and star).

9. Go back to Animation Shop and go to Edit>Paste>Paste after the current frame.

10. Check the result clicking on View Animation
