This tutorial was translated with PSP09 but it can also be made using other versions of PSP.
Since version PSP X4, Image>Mirror was replaced with Image>Flip Horizontal,
and Image>Flip with Image>Flip Vertical, there are some variables.
In versions X5 and X6, the functions have been improved by making available the Objects menu.
In the latest version X7 command Image>Mirror and Image>Flip returned, but with new differences.

You can change Blend Modes according to your colors.

In the newest versions of PSP, you don't find the foreground/background gradient (Corel_06_029).
You can use the gradients of the older versions.

Copy the Selections in the Selections Folder.

Open the golden pattern in PSP and minimize it with the rest of the material.



Open the masks and the pattern goldbeads in PSP and minimize them with the rest of the material.

1. Open a new transparent image 900 x 500 pixels.

2. Set your foreground color to #183058,
and your background color to white #ffffff.



Flood Fill the transparent image with your foreground color #183058.

3. Effects>Plugins>Filters Unlimited - Paper Texture - Canvas Medium, default settings.



4. Layers>New Raster Layer.
Flood Fill the layer with the color white #ffffff.

5. Layers>New Mask layer>From image
Open the menu under the source window and you'll see all the files open.
Select the mask Mask1192



Layers>Merge>Merge Group.

6. Layers>Duplicate.
Image>Mirror>Mirror Vertical (Image>Flip).
Layers>Merge>Merge Down.

Effects>Edge Effects>Enhance.

7. Activate your Selection Tool
(no matter the type of selection, because with the custom selection your always get a rectangle)
clic on the Custom Selection
and set the following settings.



8. Set your foreground color to Pattern, and select the pattern Goldbeads



Layers>New Raster Layer.
Flood Fill the layer with the golden pattern.

9. Selections>Modify>Contract - 5 pixels.
Press CANC on the keyboard

Keep selected.

10. Layers>New Raster Layer.

Open paper (2)

Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste into Selection.
Selections>Select None.

11. Layers>Arrange>Move Down.
Activate the layer above of the frame.
Layers>Merge>Merge Down.

12. Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, color #000000.



13. Open Adorno estrellas 110_nines

Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste as new layer.

Don't move it; it is its place.



14. Activate your bottom layer.

Image>Canvas Size - 900 x 650 pixels.



15. Activate your Magic Wand Tool
an click in the transparent part to select it.

16. Layers>New Raster Layer.
Set your foreground color to Color.
Flood Fill the layer with your foreground color #183058.

17. Effects>Plugins>Filters Unlimited - Paper Texture - Canvas Medium, same settings.



Selections>Select None.

18. Layers>New Raster Layer.
Flood Fill the layer with the color white #ffffff.

19. Layers>New Mask layer>From image
Open the menu under the source window and you'll see all the files open.
Select the mask ildiko@create0050_mask



Layers>Merge>Merge Group.

20. Layers>Duplicate.
Image>Mirror>Mirror Horizontal.
Layers>Merge>Merge Down.

Image>Mirror>Mirror Vertical (Image>Flip).

21. K key to activate your Pick Tool

Pull the top central node down, until 500 pixels
and the bottom central node down, until 620 pixels.



22. Activate your top layer.

Open the tube 470 Tube Winter princess-louisepause-psp2025

Erase the watermark and go to Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste as new layer.

Image>Resize, to 80%, resize all layers not checked.

23. Activate your erase Tool
Lightly erase the cut on the left, as shown in my example.



Move the tube at the bottom right.

24. Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, color #0b598d.



25. Open the tube Renne_Noel_02_lemondedebea

Erase the watermark and go to Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste as new layer.

Image>Resize, to 40%, resize all layers not checked.

Move the tube at the bottom left, see my example.



26. Open Texto Feliz Navidad

Edit>Copy.
Go back to your work and go to Edit>Paste as new layer.

Place correctly the text.
For me, I move it under the tube.



27. Sign your work.
Add the author and translator's watermarks.

28. Image>Add Borders, 2 pixels, symmetric, foreground color #183058.

29. Edit>Copy

30. Image>Add Borders, 20 pixels, symmetric, color #ffffff.

Select this border with your Magic Wand Tool

31. Edit>Paste into Selection

32. Adjust>Blur>Gaussian Blur - radius 20.



33. Effects>Plugins>Filters Unlimited - Paper Texture - Canvas Medium, same settings.



34. Effects>3D Effects>Inner Bevel - color #ffffff.



35. Selections>Invert.

Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, color #000000.



Selections>Select None.

36. Image>Add Borders, 2 pixels, symmetric, color #ffffff.
Image>Add Borders, 10 pixels, symmetric, color #1b7cb8.

37. Effects>Plugins>FM Tile Tools - Saturation Emboss, default settings.



38. Save as jpg.
